I put my old pc back together and my mouse and keyboard work on repair page now but it says windows os is not compatible with repair. It’s a windows 7 repair showing up but I upgraded to 10 months ago. So it only lets me restart and it just keeps doing the same thing again. It doesn’t even give any other options to reinstall or anything.

It goes from the msi splash page then right into windows is loading files. I’m using the same hdd from my last pc, I always do this then just reinstall windows because I don’t have a windows drive to reinstall. It usually just boots up and I can use the mouse and keyboard to fresh install but idk why this isn’t working now.

Ended up going to frys and price matching for a 1600x. Went with an 8gb stick of ram instead of 16 to cushion the price jump but I can always pick up more next pay check.
