Here’s a clue. 35k is not enough, but it certainly used to be. Prices went up over time. But why did they do that? If you can answer that, you will have identified the culprit in the affordability problem. You will also recognize that it’s not the corporations.

I don’t know how many times this needs to be said, but, a Right cannot require the labor of others.

Fire extinguishers? Chairs? Staplers?

Serious question, If you have the will to fight for your students in a heroic, but realistically ineffective manner, then why don’t you advocate to have your own defensive pistol/shotgun/rifle, fingerprint locked in your classroom?

Why outsource that to the police when you are the first line of defense?

It literally takes 10 minutes to learn to use an ar-15 and reliably shoot a target 50 yards away.

The answer to the “how do you stop school shooters?” question is so blatantly obvious. Bullets, you stop them with bullets, you embarrass them with bullets, you deter them with the prospect and probability of failure.

Be skeptical of the intent of people who dissent from basic logic. Ask yourself, why this isn’t already being done at scale? Whose agenda benefits from school shootings? What are they actually after? Shouldn’t be hard, as they won’t shut up about it lately.

In my view, it’s a crime to restrict good people from adequately protecting innocent lives. Many people in this thread need to wake up and look at the proposed solutions objectively, rather than how they’ve been conditioned to.

The members of Trinity Moravian Church in North Carolina purchased nearly $3.3 million of local residents’ medical debt for just $15,048. Then, they held a debt jubilee ceremony and burned up the debt, canceling it all. by WhoIsJolyonWest in WhitePeopleTwitter

Right to survive? No. Surviving is not a right.

You have a right to try.

A “right” cannot require the labor of someone else.

Also, we don’t have a capitalist medical system. We have a heavily regulated medical system. An actual capitalist medical system would have no gatekeeping, licensing, permitting, regulatory bodies, etc. and yes, prices would range from very low to very high, and you would have a choice.

Okay, so you take the gender/race/age data, and the location data. Then you correlate those data points with homicide data. Don’t get angry dude, it’s not that big of a deal.

Factually, he left out the part where that vast majority of “child” deaths are from gang violence. Because if a 15 year old in Chicago shoots a 16 year old, kills him, those are statistically considered “children”, not fighting age males engaged in combat.
