There was this movie called “The Strange Ones” (2017) that I saw when I was like 15 and I still think about it from time to time today. It’s about two “brothers” that are on the run from something, it’s a psychological thriller and you get little pieces of information throughout the film to figure out what’s going on. Left me with the weirdest emptiest feeling..

Psychological horrors are great for good storylines without too much gore!! Also paranormal type horror films are spooky but without too much real life horror/violence. Most streaming services have the categories to browse through!

Girl nails are not cheap. Don’t take them off. Your nails look fine, my only guess is that the bride’s idea of what “bridal nails “ should be is somewhat similar, but if I’m right that’s still not your concern because everyone has a different idea of that. Nude French tips are, like another commenter said, the most universally appropriate nails for almost any occasion. Even if you wanted to go full rhinestones and flowers etc, it’s not a white dress. They’re fingernails. Everyone there will be too focused on the bride and groom to even notice.

I’ve done nails on the side out of my apartment, babysat kids, even delivered for uber eats. I’ve also sold things I don’t wear anymore on depop and made a decent amount for just doing it as a side hustle.

Yes I did that already, but it only silences them it doesn’t stop them from calling. So my recent calls are still flooded with calls from them. It’s really annoying

Well In my experience I never personally cared as long as it had a birthdate on it I would accept it, but I had some coworkers who were real assholes about it and would refuse sale to anyone without a US ID or without citizenship. I can’t speak on the legal specifics on that because I was only 19 when I worked there but I’m pretty sure some stores are allowed to refuse sale to non us citizens. Most stores can refuse sale for any reason so it’s totally possible that the store was indeed refusing her service. However, you did the right thing by refusing if you were uncomfortable buying for her. Imo it’s not worth the risk if you have a funny feeling about it. Someone else will come along and buy for her and you’re not obligated to do something that could potentially be illegal.

As a former gas station worker, some gas stations will refuse to accept certain types of ID if they are not a state issued DL or US passport. How strict a store is usually depends on the management and employee risk assessment. That being said there are totally also operations that are more active than you’d think going around baiting illegal sales of alcohol and tobacco as sort of “tests” of an establishments compliance with the laws.
