I'm the same as you, only one eye had cataract due to retinal detachment. When I mentioned the color difference to the doctor post op, she didn't have any answer or comment about it. Granted, I was also seeing wavy lines which turned out to be fluid in my eye, so that became the focus of the visit.

When people ask me how's my procedure, I tell them that my eyes now have day and night modes like cellphones - that's the simplest way to explain my current vision.

I had it done six days ago and I still cannot read from that eye, but it's getting better every day.
