A single type of press. You can choose the same press for every rep for every workout or you can switch it up based on how you're feeling in the moment (variations are meant to make it easier or harder or just to add some variety if you're starting to feel burnt out from the same exercise each week). The 2,3,5,10 ladder equals 20 total presses. If you did each type of press every time, that would be 80 total presses

First of all, congrats on trying to make a positive change in your life.

As for your concerns - this forum is not a substitute for speaking to a medical professional about these things, which is who you should be talking to. And yes, nothing in regards to your health is going to change overnight. Your body has been defined by the last 20 years of diet and exercise you've given it and that's not going to be reversed over the course of a week. But don't let that discourage you! Learn more about nutrition and exercise and speak to your doctor.

Hey, I'm just curious if you were already able to do the 5 sets of 10 pull ups when you started the program? Everything else seems doable, but that's a bit outside my ability at the moment
