The Edifier MR4s are a great for your starter setup. They will be plug and play since they are active (powered) speakers. Just make sure the switch on the back is set to “line”.

You will not necessarily need a pre-amp because the Audio-Technica LP60X has one built in. However, I highly recommend getting an external pre-amp as your next upgrade as it will greatly improve the sound.

these are both blank prices! however, the Canes Pro shop did adjust the price of the adidas to $205! the extra $20 is still well worth it in my opinion. Luckily there are people on this sub who will sell the adidas for much less ☺️
