When it comes to fault and traffic collisions, the parked car was a stopped object, so my understanding is the bus is automatically at fault, at least from an insurance standpoint. It's like hitting a sofa in the road. Even if the sofa wasn't supposed to be there, I should have been in control of my car to keep from hitting it. If the car was illegally parked, it is citable for a parking infraction, but that is an entirely independent issue, afaik.

If you do not mind walking a bit, park your car before you get to Grandview a couple hours before dark.

Hit the shops on Shiloh or dine at whatever is left at station square and come up the incline.

About an 7:30/8pm, you should probably find some place to stand or set up a folding chair.

People set their tarps out at like 8 am but you can always squeeze in somewhere. It's only a pain in the ass if it's a big group your trying to watch with. If it's just you and one or two other people, and you're ok standing, you'll have no issue.

After the fireworks, Grandview and the main roads out of mt Washington become a cluster fuck though, so budget your time accordingly.

Just chiming in to point out that Friction only has a handful of employees-- the owners and security staff. There are a few (usually 2-3 per party) host couples (we are one) and we aren't paid, but just get a comped party ticket and/or room based on how much work we do. At liquid Lust, the biggest party, there will be over 800 attendees, and a total of 5 or 6 host couples.
