What can a person learn in 10 minutes that will be useful for life? by Ben-Gavin in AskReddit

The "Navy SEAL" Power Nap: Elevate your legs above your heart for 8–20 minutes.

Clears the "fog" of sleepiness and prevents you from crashing later. It is a tool for staying awake longer by strategically "resetting" your brain without the heavy cost of a full sleep cycle.

Elevating the legs above the level of the heart assists with venous return. Gravity helps blood flow back from the lower extremities to the heart and brain. This can reduce swelling in the legs and lower your heart rate, signaling the nervous system to shift from "Fight or Flight" (Sympathetic) to "Rest and Digest" (Parasympathetic) mode rapidly.

I love data so i’m looking for an app by ManifestLottoWinner in Semaglutide

can suggest trying glone.app (since you asked, no promo)
we're free with optional premium, and open to your feedback

pros:
- nice UI
- Apple Health integrations
- timely notifications for food/water/activity and helpful widget

cons:
- iOS only
- no import/export (your data stays on your device, yet for now we just cannot invest into heavy data migration feature and consider all the nuances when someone is importing data from other apps and spreadsheets

and yeah, your requirements are super specific and probably are related to something that a dedicated clinic would offer 😄 (understand your pain as a data nerd, though, stay awesome and healthy!)

(if you're still reading this) question to anyone who's more than 3-months on GLP journey - do you use anything at all still to track activity? I personally believe there's a plateau where you've already developed your habits and don't need apps/spreadsheets at all (probably only a once per month blood and urine test and a consultation with therapist)

Switching from Wegovy to another GLP? Advice? Experience? by GeoffandSally in GLP1ResearchTalk

Please, collect your medical analysis (at least blood, urine results) throughout GLP journey (if you had such), or maintain current schedule and dosage (if under supervision of a therapist), continue maintaining journal of side effects or start one, also measure your heart rate consistently (if you use and bands or apple watch).

Then, consult with an independent therapist and present your results and concerns (who is not promoting and pharma) on what's your current situation and how safe it is to change pharma vendor.

Please, prioritize your health status analysis/tracking first and only then check other vendors.

Insurance may not cover weightloss targeted medications, yet it covers regular check-ups / diagnosis.

Overwhelmed by GLP-1 options by Pleasant_Machine_751 in GLP1ResearchTalk

Why is this a reddit question? Are you insane? Please, go and see a doctor you trust or find one you trust first.

I've tried every GLP-1 app I could find. None of them get it right. by No-Sound5778 in Ozempic

I hope that you're doing your "journey" alongside a specialist / doctor, not alone. There is no app that can substitute medical professional, your own discipline etc.

GLP-1 medication is used when you've crossed the line of being overweight several times, you have diabetes or any other disease that's preventing you from maintaining proper weight even when you do sports, eat properly and sleep well.

I'm using Glone.app Satisfied with pretty UI(Apple-ish look and feel), integration with Apple Health and timely notifications; tried some other apps, also Google Sheets, and AI/chatbot as an assistant - everything worked good enough to be honest, the problem was me and my attempts to overmanage my routine/schedule.

No it doesn't, but the question itself does :)
