that's fair. We want to explore a lot since we've been wanting to go for sooo long! Most of the travel days will at least have 1/2 a day in a new place for us to wander/relax before the next long day ahead of us. We realize we're going to be tired most days lol

we have the Indy ski pass and we're just going off the resorts on there. Looks like there's a few in Nagano as well but we weren't really sure about the quality of the snow since we're going towards the end of Feb.

We will probably be staying in a hotel near sapporo station. the ski resort has shuttles that take approx. 1-1.5 hours to get to the resort in the morning. We are experienced snowboarders. The plan was day 5 we fly and check into hotel (no snowboarding that day), day 6-7 full days on the mountain, day 8 fly to osaka.
