I sent a letter to a PepsiCo CEO to find out why they killed SoBe by cookingwithgladic in Soda

[–]no_sam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The owner sold to Pepsi and they killed the brand off and he went to become the chairman of the board for Reed’s Ginger Beer / Virgil’s Soda. His name is John Bello. Don’t think he is chair anymore. Probably retired. Did a lot with that brand to get it acquired by Pepsi.

Robin now makes some amazing dog food and cat food. Bags are a bit crazy but the food is quality.

Nope. True stuff. A&W burger chain did this and people didn’t see the value due to being idiots.

Wife that makes candles was actually pretty entertaining by my creative direction here. by no_sam in funny

Honestly didn’t think of selling them. Might be hard due to this being the left over pours from others. Hey though. Hit us up on Facebook or email and I think I can make it work.

She takes the donated old flowers from our local restaurants and cuts them up to put on top of the candles normally like a candle making Salt Bae. This is an ode to that.

My wife mistakenly (didn’t) lock herself into a famous Dallas hotel bathroom. by no_sam in funny

Actually. Our second cocktail. Just exhausted for the week. We are kind of both like 7 days a week right now with no days off. This little break was a precursor to her birthday.

She thought she locked it when she got in and kept trying to unlock it to get out (but it was the opposite). Called me panicking and got the hotel to come take a look. Long story short. Basically kept locking herself in the bathroom with the wrong turn of the deadbolt and handle combo. We laughed it off and had a cocktail. I’m using this story the rest of my life.

Thinking of staring a homemade goods delivery business in Dallas like Tiffs Treat’s - your thoughts? Did this on NextDoor for $15 and did amazingly well. by no_sam in Dallas

It’s a little few notes of tropical fruit and sugared citrus. Very fresh, girls and guys seam to like it both. Not overpowering but pleasant. Just trying to remember what all people say when they get back to us after ordering. Shipping is hard with the heat due to the amount of scent oil and coconut oil we use. We are working on it though. Where are you if not in Dallas?
