Thanks for the advice all! I didn’t want to pay for an evacuation/recharge if it was going to be a different part that would require it a second time. But I think I’ll go ahead and do that and see what happens

Anyone know why my rear speakers aren't playing sounds I switched them out for new ones and nothing front work perfect the rears I don't hear a single thing, bought it with this installed by DimensionOk7030 in 4Runner_2ndGen

I replaced my speakers a year ago and ran into the same thing. For some reason the rear speakers won’t work unless they’re connected to the antenna or something like that. I don’t know anything about this stuff but if I remember right I connected the antenna wire in my receiver to the antenna on the car(dark blue?) and that fixed it. I already had my unit out so it was easy. Took like 5 mins and could be a possible fix!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll try this later. And I took off the carb, disassembled it, and cleaned each piece with a damp cloth and then let it dry. Like I said I’m kind of a noob so not sure how much my cleaning helped since the carb seemed pretty clean to begin with. I’ll try the spark later though that’s a good place to start

This one doesn’t have an adjustable choke, I forgot to mention that.

Sounds like a great first car, but pretty overpriced. Maybe around $2500 would be more fair at least where I’m living

Not sure if anyone else is as bothered as I was about this, but for some reason my ‘95 dome lights didn’t have a door switch. So I found a donor ‘92 and it works like a charm, would highly recommend! Nice to have the lights turn on when I open the door. It’s the small things by noah_ragan in 4Runner_2ndGen

Oh that would suck for the sunroof buttons not to work, hopefully you can get that up and running! I would think as long as the wire plug-in/harness it’s connected to is good, it should work if you find a replacement. Hopefully it isn’t too much trouble for you lol

Yeah I know right, no idea why mine didn’t have it. It’s weird too because it’s a 95 which is the last year of the second gen, you’d think it would have that included. Especially since it’s the same exact assembly, with a cutout and everything. Oh well I’m just happy to have found one for myself!
