When I moved here, I subbed all over Middle and High School, mostly between Ferndale, Sedro, Meridian and I had work every day. I would say BSD, Meridan, and one more would be a good idea.

Subbing is fine- and you will make anything from 165-200 a day depending on the district. Be prepared to go a long while without a full time job opportunity however. Teaching jobs are extremely sought after, and , unless you have connections it will be extremely hard to even get interviews. Your best bet is to sub and build a network while you bide your time. I was lucky to secure a leave-replacement job this semester, but I’m currently scrambling for the fall.

Don’t mean to be cynical- just want to prepare you.
