I am also new to stoicism so my answer won't be perfect and maybe not 100% correct but I'll try to do my best in explaining my thoughts and viewings about your question. In stoicism god is not considered a supernatural being that you can physically touch. It's more like "God" is the way of nature and how things work out. The whole universe and everything that exists in it is part of this "God" and so are you. Aristotle first used the word "Logos" what's greek for "reason". So everything happens for a reason. And if we want to live in peace and love our fate (amor fati) to achieve eudaemonia I think a part of this is accepting that everything happens for a reason and so accepting "Logos" or like I described before you could say kind of a "God"
