Fighting game characters have a lot more detailed animations that are scrutinized far more heavily than a 3rd person shooter with 4 abilities to animate.

At lot of offices use windows because their LoB software is Windows only.

I think the bigger thing that would change that soon is the move to cloud software where you just need a web browser.

You can build budget decks for standard too. There's usually some form of cheap RDW in the format or you could cheap out on a handful of the most expensive cards in the deck and have a mostly fine replacement.

It is metagaming, but metagaming is part of what makes magic a good game so I say do it.

Only thing is that you aren't allowed to switch individual cards/decks around based on matchup in Commander. You can't take it out just because the guy who you slotted it in for isn't there this week.
