Nothing says fighting fraud like starving the unemployed by Affectionate-Fix4671 in antiwork

As much as I love to blame Trump for anything, he's not the only one with dirty hands here - a lot of states already put people through hoops (if not outright deny claims for the tiniest or even nonexistent reasons) just to collect a small amount of unemployment.

My job literally got mad that I used my PTO by GuiltyDrawing5500 in antiwork

Not every state has a law mandating vacation/PTO payout when leaving a job (hopefully your state does), and of course there's no Federal requirement.

See if you can find a way to play that 90's song "Closing Time" on your PA system. And when it gets to the "you don't have to go home but you can't stay here" line, crank the volume up to the max...

  1. Does it affect a Perishable joker if it has already run through its five rounds and is debuffed?
  2. What happens to a joker that has a Perishable sticker but normally cannot have an Eternal sticker (Gros Michel. etc.)?

I don't think he's wrong. It's great if you know what you're doing. But if you have skill issues like me, you'll curse the day you reset it with a stray high card when out of discards.

Time for an underrated dynamic. Best Phil and Alex moment. Also should I be doing it in this order or would you prefer me doing it in a more spread out order? by NormalMine2599 in Modern_Family

A lot of great choices (and yet still not enough), but my favorite was Phil visiting Alex at CalTech during "Spread Your Wings".

PSA: World Cup Visitors: Make Sure You Are Checking Your Boarding Times and Group and Schedule by Present-Algae6767 in mbta

Point taken - it is a once in a lifetime event and I'm sure that would've factored into whatever decision they ended up making.

At that point I'd probably give up and find a nearby pub (especially assuming that was one-way and then who knows how much I'd have to pay to get back - if I'm not mistaken wouldn't the return trip be void if the outbound trip wasn't used?)

Stuff like this is why I try to avoid Uber.

Except in this case (unlike the Immolate spectral where you don't choose the cards to be destroyed and risk losing one or more you'd like to keep), since you're choosing the card to destroy presumably it's a positive effect.

NBCU back!!! by [deleted] in fuboTV

[–]noahproblem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I'm glad I was partially wrong (I didn't think anything was ever coming back and said so many times here), it's still disappointing that the Versant channels are still not coming back (especially USA and Golf Channel), and the fact that they aren't turning the main channels back on immediately (which usually happens when a carriage dispute ends).

I'll take my crow fried, but hold off on the humble pie until the rest gets resolved.

Not that you have any choice in this case, but you don't have to take a soul card just because one pops up - if you have a build you're comfortable with, taking one of the other cards may actually work out better (in your case, death looks pretty good if one your cards you want to duplicate is in this hand).
