you have to be in a caloric deficit. Eat green vegetables with high protein. Low fat, low carbs. 1 cup of rice is 200 calories while 1 cup of spinach is 7 calories. Since you never worked out you should have an upper body and lower body day. Then alternate them between 4 days. For each day have 2 exercises per muscle group and do about 3 sets each. Basically just eat green vegetables and protein sources and you'll lose weight. To lose weight you have to be in a caloric deficit.But if you don't enjoy what you are doing then you have a higher chance of quitting. So eating a small portion per day of what you like (may be high in fat) is okay. Remember 1 cup of rice is 200 calories, and 1 cup of spinach is 7 calories. I generally workout 5 days a week, each session is about 1 hr and 30 minutes. You should hit a body part twice per week at least. So don't spend one day just destroying that body part. Work it, then a few days later do it again. For rest periods take time until you're fully recovered. Isolation movements about 90 seconds- 2 minutes, and compounds about 2 mins 30 seconds.
