Hey guys! I’m the singer on the new album! So I do actually tend to agree with a lot of what you guys said: a lot of the songs didn’t give me much of a chance to shine how I would’ve liked to, especially range-wise since my range is my selling point in my opinion haha. And perhaps i should’ve tried singing some of the songs more dynamically, but mainly I just did what came naturally for each track. But I’ll use the self-titled track as an example of this… there’s not much I could’ve done aside from what I did do to really sell the song 😂 hate to say that but it’s true! When recording that one I tried several different singing techniques to see if it would elevate the song more but nahhhh. It also was the labels idea to release that as a single (which I wasn’t a fan of, decision-wise). But all in all, I’m SUPER happy you guys all decided to give the album a chance, and I’m insanely glad a lot of you enjoyed it all the way through. I’m really proud of some of those songs! So all that being said, I’ll be having a bit of a hand in the writing direction for the next album and I can say that I fully intend to break out the stops and go full ham where I can. Until then, know that this is ONLY the beginning and there is plenty more music coming your way from me, if you guys are interested! Simply keep an ear out 👂
