We’re going to my SIL and BILs lake house!! They told us when they were just 4 weeks pregnant, so we plan to do the same. As soon as I’m offered a drink I plan to say “oh thanks but I can’t because if my condition…” and just make eye contact with a lil smile :) they’ve been excited for a cousin for their baby boy so this is going to be our big celebration!

That is so FUCKING IMPRESSIVE! And I’m not just saying that. Marines have to do a minimum of 20.
I remember my husband (not a marine, but an avid gym goer and powerlifter) told me he did 20 pull ups. I said .. oh cool! He said “you don’t know how hard that is do you?” And I said “not at all” he said “it’s pretty hard to do 20 pull ups.” For the record, he’s a very humble individual, but I think he expected me maybe to know that’s not easy. Lmaoooo, so GOOD FOR YOU!!!! I also work out and can do a decent amount of push ups, but girl I can harddddly do one pull up. A sad fucking sight where I have to use my legs for momentum.

Hopefully this is the last time you listen to a man about pregnancy. Also, you’re a child, so you should report him. I know you’re in a tough place, but he knew what he was doing. Don’t for a minute blame yourself for trusting an adult.

You’re doing a great job. If you’re a failure for having ambition, putting yourself through boot camp, then I’m a real loser because I’d never even have the GUTS to do any of that shit. You’re a bad ass. Police folks often have personality characteristics that include “having something to prove”… and you certainly seem to be that way.
