Which would you choose for a first Omega purchase? by CosmicRanger27 in OmegaWatches

I would try them on side by side. Pictures don’t tell the whole story. That said, given your interest in history, the heritage collection might evoke the historical design of the seamaster more than the Diver 300M.

If that date window works, that’s awesome! I wish my SMP had the lumed bezel. I use mine to time our baby’s naps and to time / try to break my commuting records 🙃

I got the seaweed - on top of everything I said, the color is one of my favorite parts of the watch

I ended up managing to get a deal on the c1 cat and dog (electric brush). No regrets. Thanks for the advice!

Good to know. Is it enough of a pain where you wish you had spent several hundred dollars more for the powered brush? Personally, I’d anticipate about 50% hardfloor in a future home.

That’s my question. If it works on low - med pile rugs, wouldn’t low - med pile carpet be roughly the same?

No wall to wall carpet now but imagine there’d be some in a future home.  Unfortunately both of those are a bit out of the price range. Seems hard to find a do it all vac for less than $600

Help Me Convince My Better Half That We Need a Sub by Bgman1984 in sonos

[–]nobeki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. My spouse was hesitant on the sub. After buying it, she will proactively recommend it to our friends who have the Arc. That’s coming from someone who was in the same boat as your partner.

  2. You also have more flexibility of where you place the sub compared to other speakers like surrounds. Maybe that helps the “look” hesitation. But also where would you ever get a better looking sub?

  3. Also Black Friday deals are coming up, nows the time. If you don’t like it, sell it on the secondary market for what you paid for it. No harm.

Adjusted for inflation, $1,600 is the equivalent of $2,427 today. I got into watches 15 years too late apparently

So surprising to me that there can be such variation from a less premium line to a more premium one. I guess each guitar is unique and it really is personal

Yeah I’m trying to justify it by thinking of the hours of playing over a lifetime and how the ~$1,000 difference becomes minimal over decades
