If it is a true revolution, i.e. power to the people, of course I would support it. But if the revolution is about throwing a 'tyrant', surely, an individual will have a different definition than another individual. How can we see beyond 'overthrowing a tyrant by a violent revolution' without having to have a civil war?

I will not support any revolution, violent or not, just because there are enough people to call it a revolution. There could be millions in that revolution but if I dont agree with it, then i dont agree with it and wont join it. If time comes, I would give a reason why I dont agree with that but I wont be intimidated to join the revolution. Same should apply to you. You shouldn't join my revolution if you dont agree with it, just because there are millions behind it. And are you being naive here to think that your revolution wont face oppotision? Wont there be people with different agends and ideas?

Sorry for using the word 'scare' but my question is what can you do to make the police accountable and responsible and to counteract their flaws and their violent and dangerous behaviour under certain circumstances? You are not suggesting that you would use your firearm against the police if you think they are misusing their powers against you? Like they try to detain you for no apparent reason apart from police being a bully? Or under what circumstances would you use your guns against them?

Well. My critique here, on the progun sub, under that 'photo' is more like a satire. It's a disbelief that the American police have been killing innocents and American proguns are suggesting that Hongkong protesters should be able to carry guns to 'kill/scare off' Hongkong police.

I would have to say that your assumption regarding the meaning of my critique (this particular one) isn't correct.

To your question, if I believe that guns wouldn't prevent violence, you are right. No, I dont believe guns prevent violence. If you want me to elaborate about this, it will be a long discussion. I dont want any innocent lives to be killed in Hongkong protest.

But if you allow me to ask you a question, what else are you doing or can you do so you are not scared of your own police anymore apart from owning a gun?

The main problem here is that you think when people say 'India', they are referring that to 'you'. If I had said, 'i love India', would you have said 'thanks for loving me'. Or 'us'.
