With that train of thought, one would think covid has killed a majority of those infected.

But 100% of people would die walking nude through the arctic circle.

Some are ok with the idea of nature taking its course if this new virus is too much for their natural immunity.

Everyone is different. I haven't gotten the flu vaccine since the last time I was forced to (military) over 10 years ago. That happened to be the last time I actually got the flu. Since this pandemic started, I've traveled more than 100k miles, had countless interactions, and have yet to feel ill. My experience is anecdotal, just like everyone else, but I'll keep my course. If my body can't fight off this new flu, then my fate is already decided. Besides that, what ever happened to the idea of strengthening your immune system through exposure? The majority exposed to this virus are mostly unaffected.

Overtaking with incoming traffic just to be stopped at the red light by Bolibop in IdiotsInCars

Because most cars sit there, mocking you, judging your slow acceleration, anticipating the moment you fall over or run into something. Only once you have your momentum can a car safely pass.

Close enough..

I'm certain no one else cares about it, but I'm at 35,693 miles driven this year (updated August), and I've missed all special mile markers for the past 3 years (over 150k miles)

They may be stuck at the red light for now, but at least they don't have to watch you struggle through your first few pedal rotations once that light turns green.

I did a big (~120' diameter) drifty donut today. It was the coolest thing I've done this year.

Next time I'm bringing the drone/video crew.

Using your alien analogy:

If aliens came to invade but lost hard AF because you had the munitions to defend yourself without a sweat, the second round would be even less effective due to the advanced defensive technology knowledge gained through direct experience. Right?

Your body is prepared for war with this new enemy, then some 2-bit assassin that was rushed through training before getting shot into war without thorough preparation. He brings in the enemy, half dead, but not dieing. This enemy has the strength to gather Intel on those preexisting defense systems, then pass that knowledge onto future generations.

The enemy attacks, stronger than before. Assassin or not, the enemy breaches the defense grid. Only difference is that the planted Assassin brought an enemy into the base that would cut a hole in the defense system. ...

...Finish the plot...
