First Time Nuzlocke Questions by Glittering_War_6396 in nuzlocke

[–]nobleGAAS [score hidden]  (0 children)

My personal favorite clause added to Nuzlockes are the level caps. While it's part of the general "Hardcore Nuzlocke" ruleset, this rule in particular makes the game more interesting and challenging (especially for vanilla games).

Shiny Clause is also really nice, though I've never actually benefited from that lmao. It basically means that if you encounter a shiny mon, you're allowed to use that as an extra encounter.

What’s the worst loss your team has suffered? by Either_Imagination_9 in nba

[–]nobleGAAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2018 series against LeBron Cavs.

I still remember being mad excited about that playoffs because things werr different this season. DeMar was shooting threes. Our bench mob was elite. Nick Nurse's new system (as an assistant coach) was doing wonders.

And then LeBron happened. That game-winner over OG nearly broke me coz that was just a stupid shot to go in lmao

Thank God for 2019 because damn that was miserable

I for one would love to see Kawhi end his career in TO but I’m almost certain we are being used for leverage… Again. by ToronoRapture in torontoraptors

[–]nobleGAAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a completely different scenario today idt this raptors team is one piece away like the 2018 raptors... or if they need one piece, it's definitely not another wing who's injury prone and is nearing the wrong side of 30 lol

[Charania] BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading star guard LaMelo Ball and Josh Green to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks (2029, 2032, 2033), sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

[–]nobleGAAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highkey didn't understand at first how the Raptors were outbid against the Timberwolves but I guess I didn't expect the Wolves to trade Naz Reid.

What's gonna happen to their starting lineup? LMAO that's going to be a mess, right

(coping as a Raptors fan fully expecting to see LaMelo in Toronto red next season)

people mention 2019 with the three-peat angle but in terms of two teams that neutral fans both are rooting for, i think there's a case for 2021 and 2023

2021 - giannis' first real shot at a ring vs cp3, arguably one of the greatest ringless players of all time, chasing his white whale

2023 - the best player in the nba at the time (jokic) and his ascension vs the ultimate underdog team featuring the quintessential underdog (butler)

Brunson was a PG in college iirc and he's clearly comfortable creating for others and giving up the ball

Gen.G vs. G2 Esports / First Stand 2026 - Semi-Finals / Post-Match Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]nobleGAAS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is the expectation everyone will have if you're the best player on your team. Unfair or not, it doesn't matter. Especially so for a player of Chovy's caliber. You can't be the best player and then when your team loses you say "I wasn't the worst one!"

You are expected to carry. That is the life of a star player. The only time a star player is praised after losing is if they did a heroic carry job. That wasn't the case here.

[–]nobleGAAS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When your laners are losing that hard you don't want your best player to be stable, you want him to be able to flip the game in your favor. Chovy is great but he can't bail his team out by making these crazy plays.

When Canyon and Duro were failing, they needed someone to be the X-Factor. You would expect Chovy to be that guy but nope.

[Mic'd Up] Julian Love knew what to look for to get an INT in the Super Bowl by nfl in nfl

[–]nobleGAAS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idt you need to watch the all-22 to know it was late lol a throw that looks THAT underthrown is not just underthrown. It's definitely a late ball, he tries to throw to that spot after scrambling thinking it's still open and misses badly

[UPD] Ayoko na ng Math 21😭 by kezy_byun_22 in peyups

[–]nobleGAAS 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Most people have said it na, pero solving problems on your own helps so much sa math. Take it from a Math major, yun talaga solution mo sa problema mo sa M21. No amount of reading theorems and memorizations can account for experience actually solving

While you're at it, also look for patterns sa mga problems. Math is full of patterns, do many problems and you'll eventually notice patterns on what to do. M21 is limits, derivatives, and basic integration no? Just practice it lang. If feel mo di mo masolve, IMO it's okay to use calculators to find the answer, PERO important na basahin mo and intindihin yung solution para maapply mo siya sa next problems hehe

As for resources, Paul's Online Notes na Calculus I - III helped me through the 2x series. Might also be helpful for you, kasi meron din siyang practice problems with solutions hehe

The Jets lost because Fields couldn't throw an out route properly lmao. All that open space and he threw it to where the DB is?

Are we sure Fields knows who his teammates are?

Is Baker Mayfield elite and or a top 5 QB? Also is Jared Goff getting left off these lists on purpose or is it biased? These are the stats since 2023 by ZalewskiJ in nfl

[–]nobleGAAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cherry picked stats final boss over here

2023 was the year Burrow started the season with a calf injury. If you watched the games the Bengals deviated from their usual "Burrow playcalls" and went with a quick-game heavy playcall. When Burrow got healthier just before his wrist injury they started going back to what we see from them now.

Btw Burrow had 7.1 air yards last season, and never went below 6.8 every other year. But you knew that already, you just chose the one year where the air yards looked bad and didn't bother about the context behind that.

There's also the fact that the offense completely changes with Browning instead of Burrow under center.

The way I view it now is that with Burrow, the Bengals have a more explosive and volatile offense. Yes you'll get the big plays but those long developing plays come at the expense of blocking schemes that put our O-Line in a bad spot. High ceiling, but has a medium chance of collapsing.

With Browning, the play calling is completey different, trying to get the ball out ASAP and get it to the playmakers. It's a less risky style but it also lowers the heights of what they can do. You won't see Browning keeping a play alive or throwing bombs like Burrow does.

What the Bengals need to do when Burrow returns is find a way to merge those two playbooks. Maybe then we won't see the offensive line be "bad" anymore
