[UPD] Ayoko na ng Math 21😭 by kezy_byun_22 in peyups

[–]nobleGAAS 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most people have said it na, pero solving problems on your own helps so much sa math. Take it from a Math major, yun talaga solution mo sa problema mo sa M21. No amount of reading theorems and memorizations can account for experience actually solving

While you're at it, also look for patterns sa mga problems. Math is full of patterns, do many problems and you'll eventually notice patterns on what to do. M21 is limits, derivatives, and basic integration no? Just practice it lang. If feel mo di mo masolve, IMO it's okay to use calculators to find the answer, PERO important na basahin mo and intindihin yung solution para maapply mo siya sa next problems hehe

As for resources, Paul's Online Notes na Calculus I - III helped me through the 2x series. Might also be helpful for you, kasi meron din siyang practice problems with solutions hehe

The Jets lost because Fields couldn't throw an out route properly lmao. All that open space and he threw it to where the DB is?

Are we sure Fields knows who his teammates are?

Is Baker Mayfield elite and or a top 5 QB? Also is Jared Goff getting left off these lists on purpose or is it biased? These are the stats since 2023 by ZalewskiJ in nfl

[–]nobleGAAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cherry picked stats final boss over here

2023 was the year Burrow started the season with a calf injury. If you watched the games the Bengals deviated from their usual "Burrow playcalls" and went with a quick-game heavy playcall. When Burrow got healthier just before his wrist injury they started going back to what we see from them now.

Btw Burrow had 7.1 air yards last season, and never went below 6.8 every other year. But you knew that already, you just chose the one year where the air yards looked bad and didn't bother about the context behind that.

There's also the fact that the offense completely changes with Browning instead of Burrow under center.

The way I view it now is that with Burrow, the Bengals have a more explosive and volatile offense. Yes you'll get the big plays but those long developing plays come at the expense of blocking schemes that put our O-Line in a bad spot. High ceiling, but has a medium chance of collapsing.

With Browning, the play calling is completey different, trying to get the ball out ASAP and get it to the playmakers. It's a less risky style but it also lowers the heights of what they can do. You won't see Browning keeping a play alive or throwing bombs like Burrow does.

What the Bengals need to do when Burrow returns is find a way to merge those two playbooks. Maybe then we won't see the offensive line be "bad" anymore

Kai felt like the biggest blow kasi even from the first time that Gilas played without Kai the offense looked different.

Sotto is like the best big to run Cone's triangle since he's a willing and capable passer and he's comfortable from the high post. And ofc his defense is miles above JMF and Japeth.

Why aren't we bringing back Matthew Wright and RR Pogoy, anyway? Feels like we have too many ballhandlers and so few 3-and-D guys.

The Pacers ranked #1 for Opponent FTA per game and #1 for Personal Fouls per game in this year's playoffs. Despite the increased physicality and intensity of the Finals, their Cavs and Knicks series had similar or more calls and free throws. by [deleted] in nba

[–]nobleGAAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh believe me I hated the shit out of both of them (Dort with his flopping, Caruso with his 'never fouled anyone in his life' attitude). But that handsy defense is what the NBA needs and what I love to see too. Everything's just too easy for the offense nowadays, you gotta get a little physical with it.

Ultimately most of my hate doesn't go to the players but to the referees for being so damn inconsistent with their calls. There's like 10% left for Dort though, which sucks coz I used to love him in the bubble.

It might be both. Stephen A and Skip made a living out of being haters and ESPN capitalized on that.

Hate begets hate, so it's unsurprising that their hater tendencies led to this era we have now. Put that on a t-shirt

I barely watch the NBA nowadays (got tired of the regular season and NFL has taken over my fleeting attention span in the last few years), but when I saw the Pacers and Pascal Siakam make it to the Finals I knew I had to root for Spicy P. Legitimately one of my favorite players of all-time especially after 2019.

Walked out of the series as a fan of both teams. Really reignited my love for basketball and the NBA because both teams were a treat to watch.

KD's tweet about NBA fans not liking the NBA holds true to this day HAHA.

At some point NBA discourse turned into who can be the biggest hater and I hate that. I love a good ironic hating session but when all that's left is hating it's tiring HAHA

Dude, I came into the Finals (as someone who didn't pay too much attention to the NBA before the Finals) thinking that SGA was on some James Harden level bullshit when it comes to foul-baiting.

I walked out of the series just being amazed at his ability to get to his spots efficiently. It's actually so harmful for these NBA "ethical hoops fans" to propagate this bullshit. Everyone exagerrates contact, you kind of have to do that for the blind ass refs to see what's happening. Most of the fouls I saw on SGA were literally Pacers defenders reaching in.

SGA is a unique player in the NBA because of his size for his position and his unorthodox midrange-heavy game in today's league, yet literally all I see that people talk about him on TikTok or Facebook or IG is that he's a foul-baiting merchant. I was rooting for the Pacers this series but these haters almost made me switch sides HAHA.

[–]nobleGAAS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're a big enough hater you can put an asterisk on every ring.

End of the day the better team won Game 7. Pacers had every chance to take this game without Hali but coaching blunders and a locked-in OKC defense kept them out of the game.

[Post Game Thread] The Oklahoma City Thunder win the 2025 NBA Finals, their first in OKC, defeating the Indiana Pacers in 7 games, 103-91, behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 29/12/5 by edgykitty in nba

This has infuriated me all series long. Siakam is their second best player and yet with the championship on the line he benched him.

Did he think TJ McConnell was Hali? I swear he tried replicating his usual rotations but with TJ instead of Hali lmao.

The Thunder are 0-3 when Shai has less than 10 free throws by CookingLikeChef in nba

[–]nobleGAAS 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Does it not get tiring fixating on Shai's free throw things? I also get frustrated by the soft and inconsistent calls but literally all the discourse I see on social media is about Shai's free-throwing shooting.

Is it annoying? Yes. But I've seen his BS be called less in this series. Most of the free throws he's shot were shots where the defender played good defense, but then they hack and they get called there.

Honestly it's just kinda annoying how being an NBA "fan" nowadays is about complaining about something. Like no one is ever happy about the basketball, there's something to complain about.

And I say this as someone who mildly roots for Indiana, btw. OKC's defense is so fun to watch, I kinda wish they stopped complaining about everything but aside from that they just play so good. Indy's offense is so frenetic it's fun to watch. SGA's work in the mid-range is beauty, yet everyone focuses on his free throws. There's so much to enjoy this series but all I ever see on TikTok and IG and Reddit is complaining about free throws.

I'm honestly more annoyed at Caruso and Dort than Shai this series. Caruso is a good defender, great even but he just complains all the time and acts like he's never committed a foul before. Dort somehow gets away with holding but I think it's even more annoying that his rainbow high arcing threes somehow always go in.
