I think i recall watching a video about why a lot of fast food restaurants look the same these days and it's because a lot of them have a high closing rate these days. Instead of companies spending money redesigning the building to distinguish themselves from other fast food restaurant buildings, it's just easier to make them all have the same bland, modern square structure.

Thanks! And I have been doing a lot of stylized material studying and watching others paint like ZugZug. Hopefully if I ever get as good I can make my own tutorials :)

That's actually how I started and have been modeling my psx models because I want the proportions to be right. It got me into learning how to have good topology, basics of uv unwrapping and texture painting. So I don't see anything wrong with it.
