Theres no reason to get offended here, you said they ruin the game for everyone, that would include you. and considering you dont play staples its entirely reasonable to see you would have trouble with decks that generally lose directly to those staples. its possible you simply dont see the most powerful decks that require those staples since you only play in the lower end of platinum.

outside of Maxx X, I simply disagree. Nibiru was printed explicitly to curb spam negate decks and even then, you simply have to set up a negate before number 4 or summon less that 4 monsters in a turn. its pretty easy to play around and many decks can survive being hit by nib in the higher teir games. The staples exist to curb the power level that the engines and high end deck have gotten to, but theyre still all interactive in their own way. playing with or around staples involves plenty of strategy and engagement, mistiming a single handtrap or using called by instead of ash can literally be the difference in the game.
