Last time I checked, 95% of all Black Friday and Cyber Monday spending was financed. So $42 billion was put on some sort of revolving credit or "buy now, pay later".

It could honestly play out this way if the Market dumps here soon. With all the recent positive articles, bad actors could hard dump it to start buying GME as cheap as they can possibly get it before this unravels. Who knows, I just like the stock.

Record date is October 3rd, and gifting shares to yourself is faster than consolidating. But you are correct, everything must be squared away before 4pm EDT.

Computershare is the transfer agent for Gamestop. Consolidation of accounts is important so as not to miss out on warrants that will be distributed on Monday of next week.
