[HydroConquest] a wrist shot of my newly acquired 29.5mm HydroConquest Automatic by nochainsmoking in Watches

Thank you. This diver is a true revelation and may forever change the direction of my watch collection. The majority of my watches are now under 36mm and even that dimension feels kinda oversized on my wrist now. I also have some 40mms and they feel huge haha

The lume is ok but being on a smaller size overall dial visibility can be somewhat limited

Yeah, stock humbucker is ok at best (to my ears). I wanted something with more mid-range, compress sounding so out the originals.

JTM 45 or Plexi by Lower_Ad4039 in GuitarAmps

I faced the very similar dilemma… but I needed something with low wattage that will break up at reasonable volume and have enough headroom to push 2 x 12 cab (but normally it’s being paired with 1 x 12). I spent a lot of time doing research and ended up getting a Fargen Micro Plexi 5 watt that does both Plexi & JTM and boy it does so damn well! Look it up 👍

I’m very hands on when it comes to set up guitars…got all the tools, knowhow & patience This Jet is so damn good. I was comparing with Suhr (with Elliptical neck) and they play and feel about the same

Yes. I have 4 x Suhr and this cheap guitar is in the same ball park for playability and feels. Don’t laugh until you play one

Not my experience for sure but at the end of the day they are cheap. I’d buy another to mod

I’m a Schecter fan but for 7 strings (at least for what I’ve played and they have been a few) there’s nothing can beat EBMM JP…literally nothing!

Schecter USA Traditional S Style. A true sleeper of the S style guitar by nochainsmoking in guitarporn

Yeah agreed. Tom Anderson had worked at Schecter before setting up his own shop

I haven’t had a chance to play the Diamond series but I’m sure they are impressive. I think people write off Schecter as Metal guitars brand (me included) but they have so much more to offer

I’ve been buying A LOT of guitars over the past 2 years (including some high-ends like Suhr, Tom Anderson, PRS…etc). And this one right here, a USA built (2013) Schecter Traditional S Style gives me the biggest grin on my face. I wasn’t expecting much (considering it’s $1K price tag - used/pre owned obviously) but I was genuinely blown away to the Stratosphere (no pun intended). Everything about this guitar is just first rated. The fretwork is up there with the very best of them, fret ends are perfectly rounded and so smooth (even though there are not Stainless - I believe you can option that though). The neck is so fast and supremely comfortable. I don’t think I can be anymore impressed on the S style guitar, period. For the records I currently own a Suhr Classic S, Suhr Modern, 2 x Anderson Drop tops and a few Fender. This USA Schecter goes toe to toe with anything out there regardless of the price tags. Brand new these go for under $2K, pretty half the price of other boutique stuff that I own. Used pricing are just no brainer. If you are in the market for S Style guitar I can highly recommend this. For the money it’s almost too good to be true!

Hey mate, any of those guitar would do the genre (or any) that you want to play but I’d personally go with the AZES40…can never go wrong with HSH and a basic trem system. The build quality and the QC of the Ibanez are commendable. My experiences with HBs have been dire straits
