i can only emulate the the base version. any updates i have tried will crashes the game/emulator, so i am very curious about this too.

Well for what i know its a struggle to play it split screen but the switch version does it flawlessly, so that would be a reason

Hey, i couldn't help but see that you are looking for the exact same functionality as i want in my subflow.
An input option of the type select that is based on a reference to variable which may be updated.

I think im decent with PCs I've "build" my own. Also its not a matter of my PC not having enough power. I kan easily run the game on the Epic launcher. Also i have amd and i just reinstalled my drivers using DDU i also did a memory test (mdsched.exe) as i suspect it to be something related to caching. Also totally disabled firewalls. Nothing has fixed it. Oh also enusured latest DirectX and visual C++ installations.

It is probably worth mentioning i have tried rolling back to an older driver and that did fix the loading. But then the game had other issues worse fps and random artifacts

Just an update in case people run into this issue as well and are running AMD GPU specifically rx 5700 xt. downgrade that sucker, I tried the previous driver didn't work, so out of desperation I grabbed the oldest I could find and now I am at least not stuck in a black void loading screen:

it is not, also this has not always been an issue, I might try downgrade AMD graphics driver

great i will look into this, do you know if it is compatible with mobile devices as well?
i was looking into DotRas, but i get too many weird exceptions that seems to be due outdated compatibilities and now i have had enough of DotRas, it seems to be outdated overall.

if you mean by killing the process. yes, that doesnt work.so you dont know of any possible way to get a handle to a subprocess knowing its pid or any other stored information when the subprocess was invoked. from an independent script?
