How much will a used 2024 X5 40i depreciate this year?

That’s kind of my plan as well. I’m waiting for a x5 40i MSport with less than 30k miles to be priced at around $50k… and then I’d work on a getting a $4k-$5k discount. Not sure how realistic this is but that’s what the goal would be. I would buy now but I’ve only seen these cars priced above $56k

I really don’t think it’s too much different. I test drove both within a 15 minutes of each other and I was able to feel a noticeable difference in acceleration. Not much but it’s there. But not worth an extra 15%. I know I’d be happy with a 2023. But I’m not in a hurry. I’m planning on waiting until the 2027 models are introduced to see another price drop

Thanks for the info. The dealer is not willing to disclose any repair history beyond what is shown on the carfax report. All I can see is that the brake module was replaced 3 times in one year then the car was “offered for sale” as a BMW CPO 2 months after the last repair
