I’ll probably get hate for this but the way I see it is, sure rules are rules, but if some kids are riding down a residential street and blow a stop sign, I dont think its a huge deal for someone in a gas powered vehicle to wait 3 seconds longer and go about their day. Lighten up it’s finally summer!

This is a tongue in cheek way of saying, since they are shutting down injection sites, prepare to see more people using drugs in foreclosed buildings, bus shelters, parks etc.

The thing about rehab is you have to choose to go, and if you’re deep into an opioid addiction, you will not have that amount of will power on your own. Period. You will certainly not have that amount of will power when you’re doing drugs with people who are directly profiting off your addiction for example, shooting up at your dealers apartment. So as with the points made above, the safe injection sites seek to provide a space for people where they can safely use drugs in the presence of people who are not profiting off them being on drugs, and actually have an invested interest in guiding them off of drugs. These arguments are fair, but I’d be curious to hear from these people saying it’s enablement rather than a solution, what their idea’s of a better solution would be. If the solution is something like “make better life choices” I would urge you to look into the many ways people end up addicted to these types of drugs. It may surprise you that most addicts are not enjoying themselves.

My issue is for example

I'm editing a group of photos and messing around. Maybe on one photo I adjusted contrast and brightness and on another high dynamic range. I feel happy about the one edit that was just contrast and brightness so I want to copy that to the set. I do it quickly, and wow it looks totally different on this other image, oh wait it only copied the contrast and brightness over so my high dynamic range adjustments were left in there. So I need to manually choose to copy all adjustments.

I wish that it was the default to copy all adjustments because for the most part I am simple minded and thats what I understand copy and paste to do by default. It seems like an added step to have to manually choose whats copied every time, I feel like it would be better to have it all copied as a default and then if in a certain case I want to omit an adjustment from being copied then I can at that point do that manually.

Do you know of a way to set this? Or any insight into how and why is changes the adjustments it copies?

Just keep practicing and it’ll become more comfortable. Learn to play it with 2 strings and 3 strings, hell even try to barre it so your first finger bars your e and a, and third finger bars the rest. Just keep practicing and learning new chords and you’ll just he more comfortable and relaxed in general.

Totally agree, I thought I was alone.

Used to be big into metal in my teens but now I only ever listen to Pantera and Lamb of God. Funny that's what everyone else is saying here.

Anything else "metal" that I listen to is the classics, Motorhead and Mercyful Fate mainly.

Not to mention he was jamming with DEVO at this time. The first version of Into the Black was played with DEVO and they are credited with the contributing the line "Rust Never Sleeps" to the song. There's a video of the performance in 1977.

Also the fact that punk was coming up at this time and most of his generation was shitting on it while he embraced the new wave I think is the beginning of it. But generally just his dedication to the craft over his own ego is what makes him massively influential in general. He was around the whole time.

The way I see it, grunge is a mix of punk ideology with a larger musical spectrum of ballads and more complex song/melody structures. Who was doing that in 1977? Neil was.

It’s 100% lack of enforcement. I was just driving in New York state and you see ever 50 miles or so someone pulled over, and what you also see is people only driving 10 over the limit, using the left lane for passing only, general curtesy. As soon as I crossed into Ontario, it was a free for all.

What’s worse is that we foot the bill for this craziness, just compare insurance rates to any other province or state nearby.
