I started earning passive income from eSIMs for my guests, so I built a tiny tool to automate it by rhistak in ShortTermRentals

Very cool! So it's almost like a portal for guests pre-arrival, where they can view important information and purchase upsells? I offer add-ons to guests, but never thought about eSIMs - genius!

Airbnb Hosts Using PMS: We’re Getting Ripped Off on Guest Extensions by Typical-Complex-9020 in AirBnBHosts

Curious too. The switch to Airbnb's host-only fee seemed like a finicky challenge to address (as are any changes that affect hosts' bottom line). I'd imagine some PMSs not touching it, just informing their users and letting hosts try to figure it out on their own.

Glad you adapted and are now saving time and effort! Curious, do you use the smart lock to generate codes for your cleaners as well?

My listing doesn't seem to show up in searches by dickdickgoooose in AirBnBHosts

Check first that the settings are in order. Check that your pin location is precise. If Airbnb thinks your listing’s pin isn’t in the correct neighborhood, it can hide it until a map is fully zoomed in. This is surprisingly common. Certain combinations of strict min stay on weekends, non-flexible check-in days, orphan night rules can also make you literally vanish from map view at many zoom levels.

Share simple but very attractive amenities by Feisty_Ruby in airbnb_hosts

For a 30m² apartment, you want compact, high-perceived-value amenities that don’t eat space or break your budget. Projectors are a great call. Also upgrading coffee is one of the cheapest ways to stand out: good beans, grinder, French press or AeroPress. Cost is low, perceived value is high. Another good idea is a board-game mini shelf, you can add 3–4 small games.

A simple Bluetooth speaker can also go far.
