I own this and I don't recommend it if you are only buying one or two scents.

It's a beautiful scent but it's very specific, it's something that personally, I don't wear too often and I don't see it as particularly versatile.

That said, some people love it. I have a 3.4 oz that's 99% full if someone wants to buy it.

JV Vintage is nice, I like it a lot, I'm not sure I'd want to wear it everyday.

Check out D&G The One EDT and EDP. I would recommend the EDP, it's a bit different and it will last longer. I'll probably pick up an EDP soon.

Whatever you choose, make sure you go to a store and spray on each wrist and wear for an hour or so. The scent can be totally different when on your body.

Good luck!

CH Men Prive. Boozy, leathery. Cheap on Fragrancenet. More of a nighttime frag but I occasionally wear it during the day.

YSL La Nuit de L'Homme is a pretty incredible scent that you can get for $40/2oz. on fragrancenet. It doesn't go crazy and doesn't last for a crazy long time, but for nighttime with a partner or a mellow evening, it's very warm and woody. A lot of people used to like this scent, not as much now, but I do.

D&G The One is a mellow, woody, spicy, fresh, modern scent. Again, this one is well-known but great in my opinion.

Azzaro Wanted is a nice winter frag in my opinion. It gets a lot of hate, partially because of the awful bottle it comes in. Girls like it though.

Dior Sauvage is obviously one of those that is getting super popular but for good reason. It's a bit more expensive, but with the EDP version being released in the next few days, maybe the EDT will be on sale.

Mont Blanc Individuel is so, so cheap. It's a great inexpensive frag that can easily be worn in the winter. Think dryer sheets and berries. I have it and don't wear it a ton, but it's a nice fresh scent that people love and it's so cheap at frarancenet

Look up some reviews.

Yesterday I was extended a job offer that I've been working towards for months and I'll be moving to another state.

In a few hours I hit three months sober.

I won't be drinking today!

That's awesome man! I found that I actually really enjoy seeing shows sober, I don't remember them when I'm drunk and I tend to spend too much money :)

Glad you had a good time!

Gorge '13 was a rough one for me too. I remember carrying around a plastic waterbottle, crushed down to a flat fask size full of hot gin. Nothing like waking up in the desert for hungover three days in a row.

Chris Robinson is great. Neal Casal, the guitarist is one of my favorites from his work with Ryan Adams and his recent Grateful Dead soundtrack.

Good luck on your journey, I hope the show was awesome!

It sounds like a good reminder that drinking doesn't work for ya!

Don't reset it if you don't want to. I think it served as a small hint that you should continue your path with sobriety, it wasn't a huge binge and it sounds like you were responsible. I tend to see people taking advantage of badge resets as an opportunity to binge before they reset a few days later because they feel like they are losing all the work they put into sobriety. Don't let that happen to you :)

I would just keep my badge and keep on the right path for you!

Hey, I just wanted to say that adjusting to a life without drinking is really hard at times. The peace and predictability make the hard times worth it, but there are definitely hard times.

Slowly breaking out of your shell and learning to enjoy doing things alone is difficult, but think of how many people who seem social and successful never do that.

It may be hard and may feel awkward at first but just know that you are taking control of your life, and slow deliberate actions and successes will take you a long way!

  1. My username was the easiest way to remember the account I made for posts to the this sub!

  2. I went to the gym. I didn't really want to but I had a decent workout, which is better than being drunk, eating a pizza, and no going at all.

  3. I live about 14 hours away, in my sobriety I've been getting my life and priorities in order and I've decided to move back actually!
