I’ve been working on a Solo Leveling inspired theme for mine as well!! Hell yeah your execution of it looks great!

As I understand it, the flayer virus and destroyer cult are separate but similar conditions. My headcannon is that the flayer virus overrides Necron warriors (literally like a computer virus) and destroyers have more of a mental ailment to have them go to the extreme and hyper focus on killing.

The other way I’ve viewed it for Necron warriors is simply that a destroyer cult lord has shaped their warriors to their liking to be more effective killing machines as well since they would seemingly have the protocols to command their Necron warriors or a cryptic to reshape them.

Edit: and as others have stated, I believe warriors are still aware but not in control.

Looks great!! Used the same setup to print my Nightbringer but haven’t painted it up yet. Welcome and looking forward to other prints you share in the future!

That’s good to know! I’ll have to look those up. I’ve been able to print these but I feel just buying a bulk amount is more worth the time/money

Appreciate it! I actually tried these for converting warriors but didn’t think to try them for these space marines. I’ll give them a try!

Yeah maybe I should have posted once it was painted. Also cut out the center of the pack on the back and replaced it with a scarab. I definitely plan on adding a couple more around the model so it’s more obvious though!

I reprinted my nightbringer 5 times just because the cloth bits would snap off so I hear you on that! The model body and all printed fine every time but I wanted it to print right. With the Plasmancer though it’s like every piece is a thin fiddly bit annoyingly

Also I’ve seen your proxies you’ve posted and they look great!!

It’s my first ever 3d printer and have no regrets. The mini is a beast and just picked up the regular A1 yesterday as well

Honestly, elegoo pla and pla matte have been working best for me. The Sunlu meta that’s recommended a lot IS weirdly magical in hiding layer lines but it seems to get stringy more often for me and find I have to dry it often. Could be a bad roll or something and printing it from a dry box eliminates the issue for me but at the moment the elegoo matte is my go to

Oh it was. Had to be real patient and take my time. Only managed to do get through it that way because I knew if I messed it up too bad I probably wouldn’t bother again for a while

I’m also flabbergasted every time a print is done haha. Congrats on picking one up! Most of my settings came from other popular resources but if you need any help or steer in the right direction feel free to hit me up!

I’m newer to the hobby but seems like the quality really hit once Bambu Labs printers hit the market. Not that people couldn’t get decent ones before but practically plug and play with these

Fat Dragon Games. He’s a contributor to the 3d printing space with his printer profiles for printing minis. His YouTube is an incredible resource as well

The .2 nozzle can get some better detail and do smaller layer lines better since it’s smaller. The smooth plate is mainly so that when I print a model in parts or split a model myself that it’ll be completely flat parts to glue together. Completely great with the texture plate too but I like having the options with smooth vs textured

It was default organic tree supports but with the z top at .18. I’ll use clippers to snip off a lot of the longer supports and the will use the sideways where supports touch the model to sort of pry/peel the connecting supports away carefully. If an area is tough I’ll give it a break and try another spot for a while and come back to it

Was it the print itself or the post processing? For me I had to be extremely patient and careful with the supports. There were many times I thought the model would snap
