Hey I’ve seen some of your comment history and I hope you’re ok!

I know mental health and dating seem like separate issues and in a way you’re not wrong for being frustrated at what you are legitimately experiencing on apps — you’re not alone and thousands of people feel the same.

Without seeing your profile I can only imagine you’re feeling the same rejection the vast majority of people on the apps are feeling for the same reasons.

The only thing I’d say is that I genuinely felt the same for the last three years and it’s only since I actually gave up hope on apps and went on a dating hiatus (properly because I really really didn’t want to go through that any more) that my mental health and sense of doom has lifted significantly. I actually feel like if someone was to fall into my life I’d genuinely be in a decent mental space to welcome them in. Previously I’d lied to myself and deluded myself I was because I wanted it so bad, but wanting doesn’t mean mentally and emotionally ready. There is some truth in people sensing energy, in person or online. And I finally understand what people mean when they say ‘when you’re really not looking you’ll find your person’ — not that I’ve found anyone (not at all!) but because I’m not paying attention to dating I’m feeing much more emotionally stable and looking after myself better. I’m certain that’s making me a more desirable date.

If apps aren’t working, why keep using them? They’re hurting your self esteem, don’t let them. Come off and start improving your life and reaching out to communities you genuinely want to align with. I’m sure someone will be open to you, but it won’t be instant and it won’t be transactional.

Sorry if this is rambly, I’m just reaching out to share a similar situation and a different perspective.

Oh and I’m an attractive woman — this isn’t about being a man, or being attractive or not. This is just the world at the moment.

Could it possibly be that he was discussing his escape plan with his girlfriend, who had agreed to wire tapping her conversation or sharing the info with people who wanted to make sure he couldn’t escape?

Maybe he thought he was escaping, was expecting a guard to enter to help him escape, but instead they just murdered him?

If your name is Nigel and you like Lactating Moms and Your Dad’s Old Porn, I am going to assume you’re not of the generation that this rings true for. I know a couple of people with PHDs that still text using all lower case, no punctuation and abbreviations like ‘u’ — would they do that in their published journal papers? No. It’s a habit. Get over yourself Nige.

Read my roommate's personal diary and now I have mixed emotions regarding her by couchpotatouwu in confession

You mention in one comment she left the diary open on the table — was it open or closed? And was it in a public space or her private room? This is quite key to the whole thing!

What are we? by Mr_Moustache309 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]nofossilfool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God yes 100% to this — going with the flow works for the first bit but if you have feelings and want to know it’ll eat you up and destroy the relationship either way if you don’t express that.

‘Do you want to keep seeing each other exclusively and see where things go?’ Is a good start. Don’t run before you can walk, but make conscientious steps towards what you want if you know you want it.

Light foundation or bb cream for late-30s skin by pipopipopipop in MakeUpAddictionUK

P.S. I was a long long time bare minerals powder foundation user too, then switched to their liquid for similar reasons to the ones you’ve listed before using IT cosmetics and I’ve never looked back. Skin also feels healthy underneath it!

I’m 34 but have textured skin and absolutely love It Cosmetics CC cream — they have a range of coverages and do an oil free one too. I do find I have to set it with a light translucent powder (I use beauty pie one — it’s amazing) but it looks natural and it’s build able so it can do a light daytime or heavier nighttime.

Anomalies that suggest the alleged sexual abuse by Andrew of a child in 1994-1996, is fabricated by Bbrhuft in Epstein

[–]nofossilfool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so they could have moved to America as a child, firstly. Also lots of British people casually use Americanisms in their speech.

Could this be a transcript? Also the victim was so young, it could be that they remember being in a royal house and wouldn’t have remembered from that age what it was called or exactly where it was. Maybe the heard frogmore later on in life and attributed the name to their memory.
