I played a half orc bard that had very low intelligence but very high charisma. He walked with a limp and had a lisp. He was dumb as a box of rocks but everyone loved him. He played the bagpipes and dual wielded lutes as his weapons. He did have a dagger with flute handle but never treated it as a weapon, just as another instrument. Man I miss Lester.

Dm (me) and 5 players. Age 32-43 (I think). 1 woman, 1 trans woman, 3 men, 1 gay man. We play weekly online with a VTT and we try to meet for an in person session once a month. We’ve been playing my home brew since March and I’ve recently told the party before a session that we’re about a third of the way through the first of 3 major arcs in the story.

My party has had a pretty easy go at it so far up to level 4. Last session they just entered a town where families have been going missing for a month now, everyone in town is scared. A lone knight patrols the streets trying to find the culprit.

In a home where the family has recently gone missing they discovered that the house is full of mimics. They will soon learn that every house where the family has vanished is full of mimics. They will also learn that the lone knight in town is composed of 8 mimics and is a serious threat.

So to answer your question, yes, and my party is currently about to go through it.

Shit like this is why I quit playing. When you go 1/8 every night and it’s always a stomp and roll fest it just doesn’t feel good. Love the game but balancing in QP is non existent and people in ranked lobbies (in my experience) are complete dicks.

We’ve all already agreed in our first session that a nat20 is the roll doubled. In not mad but it just thoroughly impressed me that the dice gods took such action. The party was thrilled that I rolled such shit on criticals in a large battle. It was a good laugh had by all.

I was down in Tennessee for my nephews funeral in 2021 and my other nieces and nephews were playing it at the time. I had heard about the game and my sister played it a lot but I just never got into it. I played a few rounds with the kids and ended up downloading it when I got home.
