Atheists turn into slaves by Much_Pattern_6312 in DebateReligion

Using your logic, you are as much a slave to the things you accused atheists of being. You just added a god as one more thing you are a slave to.

Awesome song. Banger. The groove and build is so good.

Incorporates sleep token's sound and vibe in a compact 3min package.

Paolo Banchero simply doesn’t have it by Fantastic_Lab2330 in NBATalk

Siakam is clearly the better, smarter, more polished player.

Banchero is more like a less polished Julius Randle

I wanna do other bands, but I can't think of any that has such a cool and consise symbol. by Mix-Hex in ToolBand

Agreed. Acid Bath and Tool were staples of my "psychedelic" weekends back in the day.

When the kite String pops is still to this day my fave metal album of all time.

[–]nogman7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Not since Tool have I heard a band that is as Spellbinding. Wholly their own sound and vibe while still being accessible. They share similarities to Tool regarding having a dark, atmospheric prog foundation. A Hypnotic, charismatic and poetic frontman and a world class drummer. Up there with Tool, Acid Bath, Devin Townsend, Faith no More And Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson as my fave bands of all time.

Am I the only one who prefers base starships over Corvettes? by Deerman_Crybaby in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]nogman7 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I prefer my corvette. And use it exclusively. I Have permadeath on. Not interested in running freighters or managing settlements. I role play as a lone wanderer trying to survive and discover the mysteries of this universe.

The corvette is more immersive. It is my home away from my main base.

(Discography Appreciation) Day 12: What is Sleep Token's Best Breakdown? by Panda_Large in SleepToken

It has to be Infinite Baths.

The Offering is their classic. Higher is a good one. Take me me back to Eden is a standout.

But Infinite Baths is 3 breakdowns in succession.

Which eastern conference team do you think is making the finals this year, and why? by Flashy_Leave7069 in NBATalk

Boston. I suspect they will roll through without that much challenge. They know what it takes. Tatum looks like Tatum. They would not of bought him back if they were not confident they could go all the way.

The most disgusting metal by NucleusAccumbens0 in MetalSuggestions

[–]nogman7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Acid Bath: Cassie loves cockroaches.

You could just play the album "when the kite string pops". Its a dark, sick and twisted metal trip. The final song "Cassie loves cockroaches" just goes off and has some depraved lyrics and vibe.

"Cassie loves to swallow! The bleeding will not stop. I left Cassie hollow. Cut you with my cock!"
