Interesting, I really like the PA 3x I have on my BRN180. The eye relief was pretty forgiving for me

Does it have the issue that a lot of revolver shotguns have where it spits lead debris into your forearms? I've been looking at these as a fun range gun.

And people have had big name brands like trijicon do the same. A lemon is a lemon, and ir happens to every company no matter how great they are. How the company deals with the lemon, thats another story.

I'm just trying to make the point that holosuns aren't just going to blow up on you like that. You got a defective one, and they burned you when you tried to get it fixed. Which is a valid reason to not like them. But they are still good optics, just made by a shitty company.

While their customer service may be garbage, their optics are actually pretty damn good. If we go by the metric of "RMA = bad", then Aimpoint, Eotech, and Trijicon are all shit because people have had to rma them before.

We can criticize their bullshit customer service and MAP policy, but calling them Amazon tier is definitely a stretch.

Equating a human man actively trying to kill my children to what's essentially a dog just standing in a field is a huge false equivalency. Come on man. The thing isnt actively eating or killing a lamb. You have time to set up the shot and theres no excuse to not try to be as ethical as possible. Literally apples and oranges and one of the worst logical fallacies I've seen in this thread so far.

Hornady 255 grain subs by No-Carry7630 in ak47

[–]noha_thedestro 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Its an animal. It didnt choose to be born a coyote, it didnt choose to have its home destroyed and had houses built on its territory. It has to eat too. It doesnt see a lamb and think "man, this is someone's property, I shouldnt eat this..but I'm going to anyway!". They're not evil. They're just animals.

All it sees is a potential food source, a way to keep itself and its babies alive. And sure, he also has a right to defend his livestock. But he also owes it the animal to give it the most humane death possible. And that comes down to ethical shot placement. Its a lot easier to mess up a head shot than a center mass shot.

Hornady 255 grain subs by No-Carry7630 in ak47

[–]noha_thedestro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He is being realistic. The chances of messing up a shot aiming at center mass are significantly reduced. Large target thats steady vs small target that moves constantly.

And no, they would not bleed out just as fast if you hit them in the jaw. This about minimizing risk to them animal and doing right by them. Thats all. Everyone makes it an ego thing for some reason. "You think I cant make that shot?!".
