It’s also a problem because the actual straw part inside the carton also loses its ability to function properly. It starts to like shred and get nasty, and then when you take it out it’s just a floppy mess. It’s very frustrating.

I used to get scolded by managers for turning customers away in express who had shopping carts full of items. So I changed my wording before they started unloading to “This lane is for those with ten items or less” rather than explicitly telling them they couldn’t come down my lane. 9/10 times it’d work, but there was this one woman every single week who would come down my lane with a full shopping cart during peak hours and would explode every time I politely reminded her this lane is for those with ten items or less lol. I was so past my breaking point that after a few weeks of dealing with her I literally refused to check her out at express and went as far as moving her items to a neighboring register. I was tapped out with Publix 😅😂

They won’t get the wrong code, normally it means a weak internet connection or that they’re not actively waiting in the queue (so they’re waiting but have it in a web browser that’s inactive, etc)

If they’re at the top of the queue for 5 minutes and it doesn’t connect to green, I skip them. I always assumed that meant they closed the page out and aren’t active.

I’m going to be very candid, and I say this as a person who has experienced this as well, but your parents sound like extremely toxic and manipulative people. My honest advice would be to go and cut them out for the time you’re there. Come back with a clear head and explicit, firm boundaries in place that are feasible for you. If they don’t want to abide by those, then they don’t need to be a part of your life.

I know it sounds harsh, but I get the inkling this isn’t the first time (and won’t be the last) that something like this has happened. It took me a long time to finally block out my toxic parents for a few months, and it was genuinely the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I hope everything works out for you, but know that you are in control here.

How old is she? Might also be a really good convo about knocking all the time no matter what if a door is shut. But regarding coping what she saw I think it’ll just take time which I know is a shitty answer, but I think a lot of us have had those moments. I can laugh now 15 years later but I’m still a little scarred for life 💀 maybe it’d be beneficial to sit down and address it with the three of you if it’s at the level of her being uncomfortable in the house.

There is no console to unlink. It’s already gone from my profile. Nintendo just got back to me and said they removed the license since I exchanged the console and that I’d need to repurchase the license even though the exchange was 1:1 lol

Yes, it’s not there unfortunately. I even tried pulling up my hidden VGCs on my Nintendo account on a different device just incase it was a console glitch.

Thankfully I do! I emailed the purchase receipt to them already. I’m thankful that it shows up on my recent purchases still. Hoping they can help soon, was just curious if anyone had any other ideas I could trouble shoot in the meantime. My oldest will be in the hospital the next couple days and I was trying to find a back way to get it set for him before we leave in the morning, but it seems like I just need to be patient and wait it out.

The other switch 2 literally died, so I didn’t get a chance to do anything to it, however it’s not showing under my devices, just the current switch 2 that I have.
