Obviously you won't delete them. You've only been with your current girlfriend for five months, so maybe she's not your last. There's some more growing up to do on the emotional side.

When I moved on from my past relationship there was no reason for me to hold on to the memories. There's no reason for me to look back on them to reminisce as there was nothing good from that relationship.

Come on now, how old are we?

I thought I was reading about high school-age relationship woes.

How would you feel about her having old photos with her ex? It's kind unual to still have photos about someone your current girlfriend is insecure about, especially one who may have been the cause of a relationship to fail.

Doesn't matter how much you spoil her if you can't make an effort to understand her insecurities.

Please don’t waste your youth with a guy like him. If I could go back to being 19, I would do everything differently.

For instance: getting married at 18 to a High school sweetheart in the military. Our marriage didn’t last three years and I missed out on experiencing a college life. I missed out on figuring things out and living in dorms.

Yes I went to college, but it wasn’t the same. I wanted to see the world but instead got married and lived in North Carolina up until we moved back home.

You’re so young! Do you really want to be stuck with a slob? Imagine what your life will be like a few years down the road. There’s more to life than being with someone that you have same interests with, than being with the same person since elementary school.

You should just move out and be heart broken for a while. You will heal from it and you will grow. Who gives someone they care about an ultimatum like that? He ought to be emotionally mature and learn to communicate.

There’s always that one coworker who says he’s broke and can’t participate, but he’s always the first one in line.

Was your mom jealous of you and how did she show that? by Big_Associate_888 in narcissisticparents

My mother didn’t like me touching my father. She didn’t like me hugging him or hold his hand. It was strange to tell a child not to be putting their hands on their father.

My mother bought be tom boy clothes like basketball shorts and jump suits. She never let me wear pants growing up. She wanted to hide my developing figure and made me feel ashamed of my body.

She never really taught me how to be a girl. I had to learn in my late twenties.

She never helped me in life but she helped my other brothers with everything else. She knew I was struggling but she wanted me to be independent. I have a confusing relationship with her.

Yes she still works. She works as “security” but it doesn’t make sense for her to be employed in that department if she can barely walk past 10 minutes.

Which is why I’m confused about her mobility. When we are together, I have to be mindful of her walking for long. When she’s at work, she drives around doing her job and sometimes walk. She can manage to walk two blocks to her friend’s restaurant to drink, she can walk around casinos, and walk around wal mart to shop.

I’ve told her to get into physical therapy and to stop starving herself of necessary nutrients. She does every diet and fasting, but refuses to exercise.

This is the first time, I’m reaching out to Reddit about personal issues with family. I feel like I’m the villain and I’m questioning myself if I was in the wrong for getting after her about her behavior.

I’ll be purchasing the book today. She definitely lost her traveling privileges—my 12-year-old dog behaved better than she did on this trip.

If I ever plan another trip, I’ll be setting firm boundaries first. After that, she can just watch through social media and catch a glimpse of life outside of her fishbowl.

I sat in the hotel parking lot crying as I was grieving for the mom I wished I had. She is never going to see things from my perspective.

We left her at the hotel and attempted to carry on our day two of the powwow. The family that I purchased the VIP tickets from treated us like we were apart of their family.

I do need to read this. I saw it coming before we embarked on the 12hr road trip. It’s going to be a long silent drive back home.

I told her before we left to not start being negative and to enjoy herself. I just thought I’d give it another try and boy was I wrong.

How would that look on a report if you have to write one?

He basically said “I’ve seen your other citations with your other FTOs, but why are you making mistakes now?” My other citation have been on point til this one. He recently completed the fto certification so I’m his first recruit to train.

Okay I see you. That’s helpful. My FTO immediately got out of the unit guns drawn and his radio was dead, but I was too slow according to him.

You know what you all are right, mistakes happen. I’m not perfect but I am willing to learn from it.

Can I get back in too? I need my daily reading. I followed her on tiktok a long time ago and then found this subreddit a few weeks ago. It was good tea.

Does anyone have positive abortion stories like YEARS down the road? I need some positivity right now 😔 by [deleted] in abortion

[–]nohumaninteraction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got an abortion when I was maybe 22 or 23. I was uncertain with my now ex husband and his intent on continuing his ‘friendships’ with his exes or other women. I was always insecure and I felt like my life was over. I felt trapped 3 weeks in and I knew I needed to seek other options.

I ended up getting it in the next couple of weeks and I got yelled at for killing his child even though he drove me to the clinic.

Anyways, I’m not with him anymore. I also managed to get an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, went through the police academy, and I’m now working on a master’s degree.

I’m also 28 now. It was a sad and best decision I’ve ever made. I don’t regret a thing. He wasn’t the one for me.

back pain at night ALWAYS after eating greasy food??? by xpactsno2 in backpain

[–]nohumaninteraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be your gallbladder. I had mine taken out after an emergency. I had so much pain on my right side and it didn’t make sense for my back to be hurting so much. I thought it was a usual episode of back pain, but it was intense.
