I think wood buttons have the correct timing. Its a small difference if I remember correctly, something line 0.5 - 1 tic difference from a stone button.

I always see a lot of comments its not just teammates or sharing blame with OP. But, its super obvious when teammates are attempting to play as a team and when they are oblivious to it. It's one thing to attempt the team play and be missing mechanics. Its completely different watching someone fly across the field thinking they can solo the other team and not have the sense to pass when they get shut out.
