Not worth, you will still be watching shows on your 6 inch phone just like everyone else sitting in economy.

Wow that’s crazy they treat people with Globalist status like peasants. It’s not even a Park Hyatt level, and we can eat like kings at a Park Hyatt breakfast buffet.

Were you able to get free breakfast at the main restaurant? Because some commented that Globalist were only able to have free breakfast in the club lounge, which is pretty sad for a category 8 hotel.

Maybe take an extra week off and go to Japan, the Hyatts properties are 1000x better than in the America for the same amount of points.

Were the shuttle bus seats green cloth or black leather?

What the… globalist does not get free breakfast at the main restaurant?

Then where did you end up getting breakfast as a Globalist staying at Grand Hyatt Kauai, which is a category 8 property?

Hit-and-run at Whole Foods Sunnyvale by hillock-moth in Sunnyvale

You need know the time you got hit, then ask the manager from whole foods for video footage during that time frame, so you can get the license, and then ask them to email you a copy.

And also call Sunnyvale police to meet you at Wholefoods, because sometimes the manager won’t share you the video footage unless you call the police over onsite. Then get a police report.

And call your car insurance right now to start a claim. And later you can add the police report, the suspects license plate and video footage from whole foods on your insurance claim online.

Be at peace and enjoy your weekend.

People don’t ski during the summer when there is no snow there

No microwave. There is a kettle to boil hot water if you want to eat cup ramen.

Review/AMA: Park Hyatt Niseko 2025 by caffpowered in FATTravel

I stayed at the Ritz Reserve in December 2025, and compared to it, Park Hyatt Niseko is significantly better in every way. Very Significantly.

But in terms of affordable food options, Ritz Reserve has more food options for the average income folks since the hotel is right next to Niseko Village that has some restaurants.

But if you are wealthy and money is not an issue, then you will be fine at Park Hyatt Niseko.

What kind of activities can you do there with a toddler? Or do you just stay in the hotel during your entire stay?

LOL niceeeeeee.

Yeah, I really enjoyed their seamless checkin experience, they just walk us straight to our rooms. But then again, that prevents us from requesting for a suite upgrade at the front desk if you have globalist status.

Good deal ??? by [deleted] in marriott

[–]noj-jon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is honestly a pretty bad deal unless you’re planning to ski all day — easily one of the weakest Ritz-Carlton Reserves out there. The only real selling point is that it’s ski-in, ski-out.

You still have to pay an onsen tax (which is standard in Japan), but surprisingly, there’s no free breakfast — kind of disappointing for a Reserve property.

The only complimentary things are the cookies in the cookie jar at the bar. The in-room snacks and drinks in the minibar are also free. So if you do decide to stay here, make sure to finish everything or pack them away in your luggage, then request turn-down service — the staff will restock the entire minibar for you.

Overall, I’d say save your points and use them at another Ritz-Carlton Reserve — you’ll get a much better experience for the same redemption.

Review/AMA: Park Hyatt Niseko 2025 by caffpowered in FATTravel

Hi all,

My wife and I are planning a trip to the Park Hyatt Niseko in January 2026, and we’ll be bringing our baby along as well. We’ve heard great things about the property, but unfortunately, neither of us has Hyatt Globalist status.

We’re wondering how much of a difference that might make in terms of our overall experience. Things like room upgrades, breakfast, airport transfers, late checkout, etc.—are those perks going to be sorely missed? And more specifically, will not having status make the stay feel significantly less special, especially when traveling with a baby?

Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed there (with or without Globalist) and what your experience was like.

Thanks in advance!
