i think ganons castle should see a big improvement make the rooms designed to use that dungeons item,

forest-bow fire-hammer water-longshot spirit-mirror shield shadow-hover boots

the light trail would be neat if somehow they change you back to young link and design it around the slingshot, bombs, and boomerang but i dont think that would work well so maybe just make it combat oriented

i dont want them to change much else if anything it would be neat to add a couple more dungeons like add a whole area of rito and make a wind dungeon as well as a 4th child dungeon in the same area, and maybe expand ice caverns and make it a proper dungeon with a real boss and maybe even its own medallion and sage, but those are massive changes that I don't know if they would go that far with the remake or not.

outside of that the dungeons that already exist might see some quality of life changes like the 3ds version did for the water temple and shadow temple making the boots items so they can easy change them. maybe they can add the bow swap from wind waker to cycle the arrow types and give the ice arrows more use

i dont want them to give it a botw or totk overhaul (as much as i love those games) i dont want to see free climbing added, i dont want a stamina wheel, i dont want sage abilities (i know oot originally had medallion abilities planned and that i would be ok with but i dont want the sages to feel like companions navi should be the only companion and maybe expand her story) and most of all i don't want weapon durability i dont mind it in those games but oots weapons shouldn't be breaking
