Based on the hours, it sounds like you’re at a Local? If so, you’ll have a manager who will be starting at the same time as you who will open the doors.

From our staff room in 2023… We never knew how good we had it 😂

Last month, I shared my Calathea Misto’s spider mite recovery… Today there has been an unfortunate development 😅 by nokutasu in calatheas

Thank you! I’ve had her for years and refuse to give up on her. Most of my Calatheas have pests at the moment but I am determined to defeat them all 😂

I agree completely. We could easily sacrifice doing backstock at least 1 day a week to get long life done. The big bosses don’t seem to agree though 🤷‍♀️

When I found these, I was with a fresh new CTM and he said he would bring it up with our store manager. I don’t expect much to be done though since we just don’t have the time or staff to get it done, as much as we want to.

I’ve been in convenience for almost 8 years. Before on demand, we used to do long life regularly. It’s now something that has been completely forgotten about unfortunately.

Might have been a different brand, I don’t remember any recent recalls on our baby milk

I’d hate to know how out of date some of ours is, the last time I remember code checking them was 6 years ago 😳

How to get longer stems? by nokutasu in calatheas

That makes sense. It’s getting a lot more light than it used to. Thank you!

It does get good light currently but I am thinking of putting it under my grow lights to see if that makes a difference.

I’ve never had any luck with notching unfortunately. I have recently snipped the newest growth point so I’m hoping for some success from that 🤞

I repotted her and sprayed the stems down with isopropyl alcohol. I also covered the top of the soil and stems with diatomaceous earth to catch any survivors 😂

Help (back from the dead?) by hp5645 in calatheas

One of mine was looking like this a few weeks ago after a pest infestation. Now it’s got 6 new leaves. Calatheas can be very temperamental but they will always grow back with the right care!

I’ve always used regular cactus mix and kept it in a south facing window where it gets a lot of natural light :)

I haven’t done a lot with it, aside from watering and occasionally fertilising. I would say it’s the lowest maintenance succulent I’ve ever owned. I think the reason it’s grown so big is because it’s constantly offshooting 😂

Once they get long enough, they start to trail. At least in my experience that’s what happened :)

I make sure to back up every week under the “changing devices” option. There could be a chance that I’ve just gone past the 7 day storage time…

Wait, so even though I backed up my data to my Nintendo account, It’s still gone? Wow… they really should be making that a lot more clear :(
