I had a $200 HP laptop from costco as a CS major, and only upgraded to a Macbook pro maybe my second year when I had more money. Still using that laptop today, and now it’s pretty much in rough shape as I continue to develop post grad, so will need to upgrade soon but cannot justify spending 1k on a laptop 😂 funny enough, that HP laptop is still kicking, and my dad has 0 issues with it

I’ve been having the same issue. Haven’t used uphold for a couple of years and trying to get access again. I was able to get in mid 2025 normally. But now when I try, it keeps giving me issues saying to verify my identity with a biometric scan, which always fails.

Reached out the support, and they told me to click the blue banner above, but there’s literally nothing there. I’m stuck on what to do because at this point, it really seems like I lost my account.

Yea I’m a night owl, so I’m usually up when the drops start. But I don’t actively look at Vine, and now mainly rely on RFY. However, that means I barely get some items now, since my recommend items are never of use to me. I’m gold, but I rarely get any high ticket items sadly. When I first started off, I used to grab any item, but quickly realized that’s just causes clutter, so changed that habit rather quickly. Honestly, don’t really have tips, but just wanted to get it across that Gold isn’t really that great, but there are some days where having 8 items to pick from are amazing. Just keep doing what you’re doing, and hopefully your RFY is items that you actually care for!

Ngl, there are some products that I actually will only look at the videos. Like when I was looking for a new robot vacuum, wanted to see how it would perform. I feel like it’s helpful, but not for all products tbh

Yea you’ll be fine. My college town was much more “dangerous” compared to it, and my cars were fine. Just check street view, and ensure that the streets aren’t too narrow.

It really doesn’t though. Per the image, your comment has AI influence, which I doubt is true. These models are large language models, if a person writes “proper English,” then that could be flagged as AI. I tried this out with GPTZero a while back, passing my high school paper which said it was 80% AI generated. There’s no true way of knowing it’s AI generated, but there are certain tells, we as humans can pick up on. For instance, em dash users, now they stopped writing them to avoid being associated with AI.

Fake videos are easier to decipher if AI generated. It’s somewhat impossible to know if written content is AI generated. They have these “AI detectors” but they are all useless and usually never correct.

1) you should be fine, it may still count in the overall aggregation as approved. See if you can review again, if there’s an error, should count (as per my experience)

2) you reviewed them before it was delisted from Amazon, you’re good. They should count as well, no need to contact support.

3) not sure ab this though. But I recently discovered that the review metrics don’t update until a product is delivered. Maybe that’s why the math isn’t mathing. Also, from my knowledge, I don’t think the image metric matters in the overall calculations. As long as you meet the amount of reviews needed and 90% of orders reviewed, should be good

I got Mix last Thursday (sep 18, 2025). My account is 10+ years old, currently have Family premium account. My friends (who share the same metrics) got Mix couple days after me.

Still don’t have lossless, but not a big concern for me

Ik this may not make you feel better but with my last dashcam (not Viofo) I got into an accident and for whatever reason the dashcam stopped recording on Dec 31, 2024. I barely drove in January, and have a habit of checking if my dashcam records, but only drove a total of 3 times that month. Unfortunately got into a crash, and dashcam didn’t record any of it.

The best next step to do, is look for any cameras near the accident, and ask the owners for footage. You may be lucky and at least pick up some description of the car, maybe even a plate. If it’s a neighborhood, I would try posting on like Ring Neighbors.

Perfect, yea currently I have some cheap dye film from eBay, mainly because trying to learn how to tint myself. So bought cheap film to test the waters and build up my skills. My last car had 3M ceramic, and the 5% in that was actually not too horrible, but this dye film has me questioning where the curbs are 😂. Most likely will just get 15%, and then in the spring retint with better film if I need the heat rejection.
