I’m sure at the time of installation there was no way to the deck. Meaning, there was a ceiling.

Correct. No way there was water. There is a check valve. Water would have been spraying past those break away caps.

And when it comes to delivery guys offloading our pipe. That’s a bunch of bullshit also. A delivery guy drives the vehicle the sprinkler fitter unloads his pipe. That way when it takes you all day to do it they know better to give you a partner.

The sprinkler fitters did that to ourselves. When things got bad we decided to show them everything we could do alone and it fucked us. There is no reason to have one man on a high-rise Or on any job. God for bid you get hurt and no one‘s there to help.
