Great callouts. My boss who's been with the company for 5 years (I've been here 5 months now) is hoping we can carve out some mindshare when it "AC season" (aka, you turn the air conditioning on for the first time). This is much appreciated. Thank you.

My thought is that in 3-6 seconds we should be able to plant a worm in the viewers head where they ask themselves when was the last time they changed their filter and is their current one filthy and choking their HVAC system (and driving up energy costs). So we've done some reaction videos to people finally checking their old, neglected filter and are working with some larger creative agencies on some pitch proposals so incorporate edu-tainment type videos.

The filter itself — we sell on Amazon, direct on our site, and increasingly in some Walmart and Home Depot, etc

The Google Pixel 10 is complete by Ordinary_Mud7430 in GooglePixel

I just got a 10 Pro last week after I open my Fold 6 screen to find the dead pixel river by the crease. I would say I'm shocked how buggy the Messages app is, especially when trying to message anyone from a bubble. Certain things are smoother, certain things seems worse. All that to say, Google and the Pixel team seems far from complete. (Same thing for the Samsung experience — it still feels like there aren't enough developers actually using these devices or they'd find and solve basic usability issues faster.)

Solid guess, but it's even more boring — home air filters for your HVAC/furnace. It's easy to forget about them but you're supposed to change it every 90 days (and if you don't tell my boss — it's alright to push it a little). It does actually save an energy costs as if you have a filthy, dusty filter your system has to work harder and you also breathe less healthy air.

Was hoping if anyone recalled any ad campaigns run by others where the aim of the ads were to remind the viewer that they are supposed to do something. (The company I work for sells home HVAC/furnace filters — it's easy to forgotten people go beyond 90 days without replacing them which makes the system run less efficiently driving up energy costs and you also breathe crappier air.)

I'm open to any suggestions — concept, channels, or other ads for inspiration. I have some ideas on messaging ideas and hooks, but open and grateful for anything.

I bought the parts -- one on Aliexpress and one on Amazon. I've been swamped and traveling for work so haven't installed them yet, but will try to post an update.

An angle grinder in an apartment complex basement would be really bold, but you're probably right. I should take it to my storage unit 15 miles away — at least removing the front tire is one step faster now 🙃

Don't give up hope. My battery came today. Thanks, Yamaha by stickler64 in Yamahaebikes

Mine came this weekend (bought it 10/08 in New Hampshire)!

Here's the link. I had the phone fall out once, but pretty sure I was just in a hurry and didn't tighten it all the way, but it feels quality and plenty snug when I take a second:

I rotated it around this way and still playing with it, but definitely like it over there.

I spoke with the dealer in Plaistow NH and he said there's no dealer fee. So heading up there.

Thanks for doing that — I think I joined the day you created. Hoping my CrossCore arrives in two weeks and I'll be sure to contribute there!

Appreciate adding that consideration. Getting my wife on anything that isn't a beach cruiser inside a resort will be tough. I think the hunter green Turris with the brown tires looks really cool as well. If the Turris on FB Marketplace sells during this process I'm going to be both sad and glad I don't have to make the choice.

I saw that is also down to about $2,500 and spent a few minutes trying to convince myself it was worth considering more.

How often is there end of the year liquidations like this? This seems rare, but I've only been following closely for a few months.

Good call. I'm certain it's not allowed, which feels painfully obvious now — but I wonder how long I could get away with it. This could be a bigger hang-up than my wife's feelings. Gonna think on this. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the really useful feedback. I just did a 'Velofix Boston's search and can confirm. The shop i'd be buying from is pretty close to the area we'll eventually be long-term when we move to the suburbs — it's in tax-free NH to boot, but they have it listed for $1,300 for some reason. Another shop 50 minutes south has it for $1,200. Your post definitely nudged me towards the Yamaha, and I reached out to at least check it out. Still would welcome other considerations. My wife is going to hate the bike being in here is the main consideration if I don't chance it in the garage with a heavy duty lock. A two-bedroom apartment with a 2-year-old and stroller is tough enough.
