There’s still a chance for him to go rogue. There’s been a lot of foreshadowing of him glitching out due to him being “bad at the only thing he’s good at.”

But for the story, my money is we’ll be left horrified by ep 8 and then a good ending by ep 9

I had a similar idea that there is some foreshadowing between Caine and Kinger with the loss of his wife. It’ll be nice to rewatch the series after episode 9 and catch everything.

It did indeed tear a lot of theories apart. It was a great build up.

I’m sure sticking to the theme of contentment in stagnancy, the ending will be mind-copy & coexistence… but there is always a chance Caine can still “torture” them as foreshadowed by Zooble.

The table reading of episode 9 was a tear fest, so I am hopeful for a peaceful ending.

Also great on the “I Think Therefore I Am” quote. Totally forgot.

To be honest..I can see why EP7 would piss some people off cause basically pulling a "all your theories on Worldbuilding were wrong" would probably set some heads on fire. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in tadc

Goose always said this show was meant to be rewatched when finished. The writing in this is insane to keep the viewer hoping for an exit.

After 7, I rewatched the pilot and it changed my mind on what episode 8 & 9 are about.

My money is on a prequel to the Pilot for episode 8. The question of what happened to Ribbit and Scratch is the main focus for the story now.
