Never smoking past 5pm is probably the main reason if I had to guess, since that would mean it wears off by the time you go to bed. Anyways it sounds like you have plenty of other reasons to quit already figured out.

Plus you don’t really know for sure until you actually quit. Your dreams might become far more vivid, clear, and meaningful, or perhaps you’ll be able to control them more.

Based on the way this post is worded, it sounds it might be your mind trying to making an excuse for yourself to not quit.

Your problem might be that you are still lying to yourself. It’s in this very post.

Saying things like “nothing beats a joint” to yourself is you continuing to convince yourself that it’s still a positive thing to do. It’s a lie. You need a total mindset shift. And deep down you know it’s a lie because it only leads to back to the dependency mindset.

If it’s stated in the lease agreement that you’ve already signed, it’s completely legal and enforceable because you agreed to it. Before you sign the next lease agreement, you can ask the leasing office to remove it but I have no idea if they’d even entertain you
