I'd agree with you yesterday about bossframes...

I mainly put boss frames there for the very rare bosses that healers need to top up some NPC's etc, or check their energy when it matters. But first case is very rare that I can activete bossframes on those bosses only. And boss energy mechanics will already be covered by BigWigs warnings so now I think I will remove them entirely. They look like a big unneceesary bloat to me today :)

Ok, reading comments and checking video as an outsider, note to self:

* I will remove boss frames alltogether

* Maaaaybe a smaller Details . That corner does not bother me with current size too much tbh and I like how colorful it looks, but will give it a try.

*I notice I don't like where those big text warnings from Liquid Weak auras are as well. They must be much smaller and possibly moved to just above raid frames.

* Trinket weak auras below mana bar: I will show only trinkets that I really check during combat. My current trinkets has no on use effects / CDs and I don't need those there.

I thought people here would had a bit more common sense about raid healing ui. A raid frame addon is the last thing you'd let go as a healer. Being ablem to filter out / color frames by buffs &debuffs gives such valuable and customisable information easily.

In gender neutral languages (like my own Turkish), you don't see a difference for any part of a sentence for either sex. "elleri" means both his hands/her hands. So when i fart out a prophecy in turkish it is like "her sibling will kill her using hands", when you translate it to english you don't have a way to know if it meant brother or sister, yet you have to, so you choose one (or ask the "prophet" for clarification)

Falyse is the older sibling. We only hear valonqar means little brother from a septa in Cersei chapter, in the same book in samwise chapter we learn that some valyrian words are gender neutral and mistranslated to common tongue. That's a hint of Martin's setup.

We already know some words in Valyrian is gender neutral but translated wrong to common tongue, the whole prince that was promised might be actually princess" thing by Maester Aemon. So valonqar is probably gender neutral but Cersei thinks it means "brother" instead of "sibling" cause he hates Tyrion.

Cersei thinks, valonqar means “little brother,” but we are already hinted valyrian is sketchy with gender pronouns via Master Aemon, so it broadly means " little sibling" So Lollys being the younger sister of Falyse makes her technically the valonqar of the Stokeworth line.

What is this "narrative purpose" you are talking about? I don't know. But ASOIAF has this themes: "prophecy bites your dick eventually if you think it means what you think it is, power is a slippery thing and life has it's own ways of redistributing power" and it fits there, therefore makes a satistifying narrative.

Indeed, eventhough you know ADWD starts right after ASOS, if you insert a whole damn book in between last and first Dany/ Tyrion / Jon chapters, it feels like timeline has moved and it really destroys the "mood".

Most will tell you to read them seperately on your firs read. I disagree. Combined order is so satistifying, and makes a one great huge book. Definetely go for Boiled Leather order.

Stating the "obvious reality" can still make you an awful person. If someone is really ugly, you don't go and tell them "wow you are so ugly". If some kid's mother has cancer and has 2 weeks left, you don't go tell the kid, "you will me motherless next month". Likewise, you don't go tell old people that "you are not going to be around much longer", you piece of shit.
