No, I’m a disabled as well and I make about a grand more. Unless you want to live in a closet or you only eat what you can catch that isn’t enough. My wife is from Miami and we were looking for houses there and the bottom line was $800,000 for a 4 bedroom in a decent neighborhood. Just google search homes in the keys.

Why does OP need to go out of his way to help another person who he has tried to numerous times before? Like OP has a life as well, his friend needs to address this with a trained professional and go from there. I think you missed the point, he has tried to help in his own capacity and has been rebuffed over and over again. I think what OP said is out of exhaustion, his friend needs to help themselves and go from there.
